Dr. Aileen Ionescu-Somers, Deputy Director of IMD’s Forum for Corporate Sustainability research center, will be in Geneva tomorrow to take part in a panel discussion on the Business of Climate Change, hosted by the Geneva Women in International Trade.
Climate change presents private and public organizations with a range of opportunities to reduce costs, differentiate products, express values and work with suppliers and consumers in new ways. The panel will discuss this timely issue in the lead up to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen.
Dr. Ionescu-Somers will be joined on the panel by Walter R. Strahel, Vice Secretary General and Head of Risk Management Research, The Geneva Association; as well as by Matthew Bateson, Managing Director, Energy & Climate Focus Area, World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
