With an average salary of $128,000 upon graduation, alumni rated IMD’s MBA career services “best in the world” as noted in The Economist’s worldwide MBA rankings. Driven by IMD’s strong performance in career services, The Economist ranks IMD number two worldwide.
“The IMD MBA aims to develop global leaders who will have a significant impact on their businesses, communities and the global economies and who lead with high levels of integrity,” said Professor Martha Maznevski, MBA Program Director. “The rigour and relevance of the program is part of the reason why our graduates are among the most sought after in the world and why the IMD MBA consistently ranks among the top.”
“Companies need talent, especially in difficult economic times,” stated Katty Ooms Suter, Director of IMD’s MBA Marketing, Admissions and Career Services. “Our general management program with a strong leadership focus, together with the exceptional experience and maturity of the IMD MBA graduates, continues to be a winning combination, as evidenced by The Economist rankings.”
The Economist ranks full-time programs on their ability to deliver to participants the elements that they themselves cite as most important in an MBA program: opening new career opportunities, personal development and educational experience, salary increase and the potential to network. It weights each element according to the average importance given to it by participants surveyed over the past five years.
Earlier this year, The Wall Street Journal ranked IMD number two worldwide among accelerated programs.
