The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation supports future Arab leaders through the IMD MBA program |
This year, for the first time, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Fellowship Program will offer scholarships to participants pursuing an MBA at IMD. The program aims to identify skilled and ambitious youth from the 22 member countries of the League of Arab States who demonstrate leadership capabilities, dedication and commitment to the region’s human and socio-economic progress and place them in leading business schools such as IMD.
“The IMD MBA program is excited to be part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Fellows Program,” said Dr. Janet Shaner, Director of IMD’s MBA Marketing. “This generous scholarship provides the opportunity for talented individuals from the Arab world to study in top MBA programs such as IMD. The IMD MBA strives for diversity among our 90 exceptional participants to enhance their learning experience, and we value the contributions from Middle East participants. We encourage qualified candidates to apply for this scholarship and look forward to welcoming scholarship winners into the program.”
"By establishing the foundation, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, is providing a unique opportunity to future generations of leaders in the region to become catalysts for creating a better future for the Arab world," said Dr. Hischam El Agamy, IMD Director of Corporate Development in the Middle East. "The Foundation is enabling talent from all over the Arab world to be equipped with world-class knowledge and education. IMD is very proud to be part of this great project."
The Foundation program covers financial costs related to tuition, books, accommodation, stipend and travel for the full duration of the Fellowship. Upon completion of their studies, the Fellows are legally bound to return to the region for at least two years of employment in the public or private sector.
