Five months in the making, two great hosts, and one fantastic party. That’s how I would describe the Middle Eastern party tonight in the IMD foyer. Our hosts, Mohamad El-Ansari (Lebanese) and Ihab Bishara (Egyptian/American), provided a perfect Middle Eastern setting and atmosphere. I had no worries about the food. Brooke Bishara’s cooking is consistently five star quality. With Lebanese food, an open bar, Egyptian shishas (water pipes), and three belly dance shows, the party turned out to have a stellar line up. Although IMD doesn’t advertise it, having your partner learn belly dancing is just another added perk of coming to Lausanne. Ken Yes, this really is the IMD foyer! Carpets and seating transform the coke machine corner into comfortable niche. Were these guys in the restaurant business or what!? Crowd favorite Brooke Bishara (American) all decked out in costume and ready to give a show. Radhika Panday (Indian) shows Kavya (IMD Class of 2027) how to move on the dance floor |
