Of course, we had a class of Entrepreneurship to discuss management buy-ins with a real Danish entrepreneur and IMD Alumni of 1991. Of course we had a fascinating session on real options in Finance with Arturo Bris. But surely the highlight of the day for me was to be back all together in the MBA Auditorium and have lunch outside under the sunshine!

It was the first time this year and the scene was spectacular. Buffet and tables all outside with ice creams available on demand for dessert! After the very mediocre and often purposely skipped meals at HEC in Paris, it was great to be back! Since then, it is business as usual with cases and assignments, readings and short nights. Exams and start-up presentations are also looming ahead. I am still at IMD and the corridors are still full of activity and conversations.

But to keep my promise and to go back one last time to what was a wonderful weekend, I thought I would provide you with a selection of photographs taken by Ijeoma Achareke [Nigerian] whilst Paul finalises the video from MBAT. It would be great to have another You Tube film, don’t you agree?

When I started downloading Ijeoma's photographs tonight, for some reason, I could not manage to compress them to the required size. It was past midnight, I was still at IMD and I knew that I still had readings to do for tomorrow. As well as my laundry once back home. It is Monday today and you only get one day to do your laundry in Switzerland!

I started to feel extremely tired and discouraged. Until Loon Chian Yeo [Singaporean] knocked at my door.
"Email the photographs to me," he said.   "I'll do it for you". Along with Bryan's gesture this morning [Bryan, I know you'll read this so thank you...], Loon's kind help at such advanced hours of the night and our first lunch under the sunshine today, I find it helpful, appeasing and constructive to focus on the best things that the day has been able to bring me.

Thank you Loon, thank you Bryan, thank you sunshine. Good night all.
