| Where does the program take place? | All programs take place at IMD's campus in Lausanne, Switzerland apart from the following programs: |
| What preparation is required before I come to the program? | For most of our programs there is some pre-program work and reading which needs to be completed before coming to IMD. Once officially admitted, each participant will receive more precise information directly from the Program Coordinator. This will include information on all pre-program work and, in some cases, a link to a dedicated Program Learning Portal. |
| What are the cancellation and transfer policies? | See example in ASM Program. |
| How can I settle my tuition fee invoice? | Payments may be made by bank transfer or credit card. |
| Does IMD offer any financial aid or scholarships? | No, there are no scholarships or financial aid available for IMD Open Enrollment programs. |
| Are meals included in the program tuition fee? | The program fee includes lunch at the IMD Restaurant on weekdays. For your evening meals, Lausanne has restaurants of many styles and price ranges. Service charges are included, although you may wish to leave some small change as a personal gesture. |
| Do I receive a certificate at the end of the program? | Participants in our Open Enrollment Programs receive an internationally recognized certificate on completion of the program. |
| What benefits are there for IMD Alumni? | Once you have completed an IMD program, you will automatically have access to a number of alumni benefits: |
| What is the dress code at IMD? | The dress code is casual. Some evening events may require more formal wear. Details will be communicated to you by your Program Coordinator. |
| Should I bring my laptop to IMD? | IMD has "Internet Corners" and several study rooms equipped with PCs and Internet access. These facilities are at your disposal for the duration of the program. You need to bring your laptop only if required for personal use. Please remember to bring your own adaptor as we may not have the one you need. |
| What parking facilities are there at IMD? | There is parking nearby IMD. |
| How far is Lausanne from Geneva Airport, and how do I get to Lausanne from the airport? | Geneva Airport is the closest airport to IMD. The journey from Geneva Airport to Lausanne, either by car or train, usually takes about 50 minutes. |

| Is my hotel booked by IMD or should I book it myself? | Once enrolled your Program Coordinator will contact you with information on hotels. Please note that IMD pre-reserves enough rooms for each participant on our programs. The fees for your hotel accommodation (including breakfast and city taxes) will have to be settled by you at check-out. |

| Who do I inform about special dietary requirements? | Once you have enrolled in the program you should advise your Program Coordinator of any special dietary requirements. |
| Can I pay in Euros or Dollars when in Switzerland? | The local currency is the Swiss Franc. Some shops and restaurants may accept Euros, however you will not always get a favorable exchange rate. |
| Is there an Information Center or Library on campus? | The IMD Information Center, located in the Chemin de Bellerive 32 building is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 20.00; Friday 8:30 to 18:00; and on Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00. The IMD Information Center has a wide selection of books, newspapers, magazines, working papers and various databases. |
| Is there a Fitness Center at IMD? | There is a purpose-built Fitness Center located in close proximity to IMD. The Center is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through an automated magnetic card reading system and offers a comprehensive selection of training equipment. More information on the IMD Fitness Center may be obtained by contacting your respective Program Coordinator. |
| Is there a Souvenir Shop at IMD? | The IMD Souvenir Boutique offers articles featuring the IMD logo such as clothing, fitness towels, caps, mugs and travel bags. It is open on Wednesday and Friday between 12:30 and 14:00 on the upper floor of the Learning Center. |
